VAGenSearch is a genealogy research and document retrieval firm based in Loudoun County Virginia. Our purpose is to provide individuals with high quality genealogy research of their Loudoun County family roots, as well as offering same day (digital) turnaround or 24 hour turnaround in obtaining copies of critical original records that are archived in the Loudoun County Courthouse. We also provide document research to genealogical records in the Thomas Balch (Genealogical) Library in Leesburg, VA, the Nat'l Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Library in Washington, DC, and the National Archives in Washington, DC.
Both the genealogy research and document search/retrieval is made by a qualified, published genealogist and researcher who is also a trained DAR Volunteer Genealogist. We fully understand the need to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the documents, including the critical importance of gathering complete information such as location of the document, book pages, and source references -- all necessary to substantiate the validity of a family genealogy, as well as proofs for lineage society applications.
A number of our clients have been delighted to use our services to obtain the documents needed to join the DAR and SAR. While not all our ancestors were careful enough to leave a record for their descendants, we do the most thorough and meticulous search possible to help prove the facts needed for your lineage. Click here to see a sample of some of the documents we gathered for one client to provide SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) proof of Revolutionary War service for the client's ancestor.
Many thanks to all our clients around the United States who have expressed their delight and appreciation for our services.
